Groundswell X Brooklyn Nets 2023

Groundswell teamed up with the Brooklyn Nets on a large-scale mural at P.S. 938 and M.S. 935 in Cypress Hills titled "The Sky Isn't the Limit." This mural was created with our Voice's Her'd program consisiting of a group of our youth alongside teaching artist, Kristy McCarthy and assistant teaching artists, Eva Mariscal.

We hosted a mural dedication with the Brooklyn Nets, where we unvieled the mural and had a free basketball clinic for the students, hosted by the Brooklyn Nets Basketball Academy. 

The team also invited Groundswell staff, as well as students, parents and faculty from P.S. 938 and M.S. 935 to one of their Kids themed basketball games, where they played against Miami Heat and shared a video showing our mural unvieling on the Jumbotron!
