Over the course of the summer, Groundswell’s Summer Leadership Institute has been conducting extensive research covering community safety and gentrification rooted in knowledge gained from the Brooklyn Movement Center's Black Brooklyn Campaign.
On Tuesday, August 17th at 3:00pm, the group will host a virtual experience via Zoom that will showcase the connection between art, social justice, and the preservation of Black Brooklyn. Groundswell Youth Artists will unveil artwork made in conjunction with themes from the Brooklyn Movement Center's Black Brooklyn Campaign.
