Groundswell Coronavirus Response & Artbash 2020 Update
Dear Groundswell Community,
Groundswell has been closely monitoring the status of COVID-19. The safety of our community, donors, youth, teaching artists, and employees is of the utmost importance. In keeping with the recommendations of the CDC and WHO, we have decided to temporarily suspend our programming and close our studio.
We have also made the decision to cancel our annual Art Bash, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 29. At this moment we do not know if the event will be postponed or canceled. This decision was not taken lightly. It was made with love and compassion for our community and everyone’s safety. We are committed to transparency as we navigate the next few weeks. Please check our website and social media channels for updates and messages of hope and positivity during this time.
Now more than ever, Groundswell needs your support. A tax-deductible donation to Groundswell will raise critical funds to pay our artists and staff, serve our youth, and celebrate Groundswell. Help us achieve our vision of using art as a tool to create and support dialogue and resilience in these uncertain times.
To request a refund for tickets, or if you have questions about donations/sponsorships, please email Office@groundswell.nyc. Please consider making your ticket purchase a donation to support Groundswell.
In Solidarity,
Robyne Walker Murphy
Executive Director
