(July 19th, 2018) The Design of Radically Re-Imagining Our Neighborhoods
The Design of Radically Re-Imagining Our Neighborhoods Thursday, July 19th 6pm-8pm
With new development comes change in our communities and change often means displacement for historically marginalized people.
In this panel moderated by Groundswell's Executive Director, Robyne Walker Murphy, and featuring leaders in the fields of city planning, urban design, social justice, and the arts; we will examine the intersection between social justice and design and how policymakers and community advocates can keep from being shut out and priced out of their spaces.
Please join us for a Pre-Reception sponsored by HBO at 6 pm. The panel discussion begins at 6:45 pm in the HBO Theater. We will wrap at 7:45 for a Q&A Session with our panelists and audience.
