Claudine DeSola
Claudine was born in Brooklyn and takes a lot of pride in her roots.
Claudine DeSola is experienced in public relations, social media, event and experiential production and marketing. She founded Caravan, a content studio, is a fashion show and event producer, designer, and experiential marketer. Claudine worked for over two decades launching fashion, beauty and hospitality brands and always wanted to work with an organization that introduced art practices to emerging artists. She has been a professor at universities and colleges with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility, Circularity and Social Impact Marketing.
Claudine’s goal has always been to create experiences and push creative boundaries. She created the first store on wheels in an RV called Caravan and several pop-up stores to follow. Some of these creative concepts and events received international recognition and appeared in the New York Times, Forbes, Elle, on Good Morning America, WWD and more through the years. She produced the first fashion show in collaboration with the MTA for Yeohlee and fashion events and concerts for over four thousand guests. She has worked throughout the United States and internationally on events, shows and exhibitions. She worked with the Humane Society and created an internationally travelling photo exhibition in collaboration with renowned photographers. She has handled PR and strategy for brands such as Elf Cosmetics, Converse, W Hotels, Eileen Fisher, Rock the Vote, and dozens of others. She appeared in Entrepreneur as an influencer marketer to watch with working with over 300 people of influence directly in one year.
Her biggest joy is bringing art and experiential together. Claudine loves the opportunity to bring community together during art events. It is amazing to see community, coming together to create a social impact through the storytelling of the mural. Claudine loves visiting art experiences, galleries, museums and creating art for children. Her current art practice medium is cardboard creations and using loose parts to create large structures for children to use their imagination. When she is not working to share the Groundswell message, she is usually spending time with her son out in nature or on a fun adventure. She is an avid gardener, children’s yoga teacher and adventurer. Claudine loves to read books about the power of play, how to engineer toys and great board games and the future of STEM.
