Corey Kreisel

Corey Kreisel (he/him) is an art fabricator, craftsperson, and production professional whose work brings creative visions to life across a wide range of environments. His experience spans murals, window displays, immersive installations, theatrical scenery, themed entertainment, and the conservation of historic monuments—blending artistry with technical expertise at every scale.

Driven by a belief in the transformative power of public art, Corey is passionate about creating spaces that foster connection, inspire communities, and shape culture. He earned a BFA in Production Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design and began his career as a mural and scenic painter before expanding his expertise into carpentry, set design, lighting, and fabrication for live events, themed entertainment, and experiential projects.

 

Before joining Groundswell, Corey served as Event Operations Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City, where he oversaw the production of large-scale fundraising events. Prior to that, he worked as a Monument Conservation Technician with the Central Park Conservancy, helping preserve some of New York City's most iconic public artworks
