Donae Goodrich

Donae Goodrich began her journey with Groundswell in 2016, after observing the “Respect is the Strongest Compliment” mural, as a Summer Leadership Institute youth artist. Since working on her first mural project titled “Bridges” in Harlem, she has worked in two of Groundswells flag-ship programs, including Voices Her’d and TEMA. Most recently joining the staff as a digital creative, she seeks to engage more youth artists and activists through social media engagement. Donae has experience working with social justice based organizations and website management. She has also interned at the New Museum and MoMA as a student artist. She firmly believes in public art being a vehicle to ignite social change. Donae is passionate about community engagement and social justice issues. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and is completing her Associates Degree in Psychology.
