Mahnoor Sheikh

A Brooklyn native devoted to the arts and culture sector, Mahnoor Sheikh is a non-binary visual artist with nearly a decade of experience working within arts education organizations-among them being the Brooklyn Museum, The Children's Art Carnival, Splat Lab and El Puente de Williamsburg. In addition to pursuing the arts via educational programs at NYU Steinhardt, Brooklyn Museum, Cooper Union and Pratt, Sheikh is a proud alumnus of CUNY New York City College of Technology and has been recognized for their work with The School Arts League's Haney Medal and Alexander Medal. Mahnoor is passionate about making education and art-making accessible to all, partly due to seeing firsthand how accessible art education opportunities can positively impact individuals from miniority communities.
