Nadia Westcott
I'm a teaching artist who grew up around the vibrant murals of Jamaica Plain neighborhood in Boston. My participation in social justice arts initiatives as a teenager has paved my interest in how art is used as a method of social change. I graduated from University of Vermont with a BA in Studio Art and Art History in 2012 and have been working with Groundswell since 2016. My recent work has been inspired by observations of our current times and how art functions in the context of history. I believe art is an empowering tool and I hope to inspire the artist in everyone!
