Studio Programs Manager

Phoebe DeVincenzi

Phoebe DeVincenzi (she/her) is a visual and movement artist, educator, and arts advocate.  As someone who was exposed to the transformative and healing power of artistic expression from an early age — her desire to promote positive change through the arts was deeply instilled. For the last decade, Phoebe has worked in the field of community engaged arts education, at the intersection of youth empowerment and social justice. Throughout her career, Phoebe has spearheaded initiatives in schools, museums, and organizations to champion the arts as a tool for increased social emotional learning and shared power with young people. Through curriculum development, teaching artist training, and organizational strategy, Phoebe has strengthened relationships between staff, institutions, and communities by building stronger work cultures, more equitable organizational structures, and anti-oppressive practices in education.  Phoebe is excited to continue to invest in this work at Groundswell, by supporting the studio programming as well as the wider community of youth and artists Groundswell engages.
