  • Lang Public Art Squad

    New School students from Eugene Lang College for Liberal Arts worked with professional artist Conor McGrady to learn about the mural-making process and collectively design and paint a mural for a community-based organization.

    First Impression was created in partnership with The LGBT Center and Farrow & Ball. “First Impression” is a large installation mural that portrays an abstract collection of faces of all genders and ethnicities in a creative and colorful way.

  • I Have a Dream

    "I Have a Dream" graces the walls of the computer room in the NYC Housing Authority Chelsea Elliot Houses. This mural project began in 2008 as a class at The New School, primary aim was to research the history of public art and to design and create a work of public art in New York.

  • Legacy and Career Visions

    Groundswell worked with Youth For Real to create two murals for PS 33. One team, made up of 3rd to 5th graders, focused their mural on community change. Another team was comprised of 2nd graders who focused on career visions.
