  • Respect The Work

    In this project, a group of Groundswell youth partnered with Domestic Workers United (DWU) and Jews for Racial and Economic Justice (JFREJ) to help organize domestic workers in their continued fight for justice, dignity, and respect.

  • Transforming Your Transit Into Tranquility

    Transforming Your Transit Into Tranquility was created in partnership with the New York City Department of Transportation. It complements a Groundswell project from 2009, entitled “Worker Bees;” together, the two artworks beautify both sides of a traffic barrier in Downtown Brooklyn.

  • Longevity

    "Longevity" graces the walls of the Lutheran Medical Center Chinese Services Wing, which opened in 2004. Students from Sunset Park High School painted this mural with the hope of making patients feel more comfortable and at home.

  • Natural Inspiration

    Fifteen youth created "Natural Inspiration" in partnership with the Bowery Resident’s Committee (BRC) and its women’s residence in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

  • Coney Island Aquarium Mural

    "Coney Island Aquarium Mural" adds even more color and life to the New York Aquarium. It is a large-scale mural created by a youth group from the South Brooklyn Youth Consortium (SBYC) in partnership with Groundswell artists.

  • The Perfect Equilibrium of Nature

    "The Perfect Equilibrium of Nature" was created in partnership with Tillary Park Foundation, Councilmember Letitia James, and The Urban Assembly School of Music and Art. The goal of the project was to illustrate modern life in developing Brooklyn communities
