  • Brooklyn High School of the Arts Band Room Mural

    "Band Room Mural" features a blend of jazzy musical imagery and Brooklyn iconography. It is a celebration of music appreciation, created for a new band room at Brooklyn High School of the Arts.

  • Action Word Wall

    In spring 2008, Groundswell worked with a group of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to create a mural for PS 261 in Boerum Hill. Comprised of action-inspiring words that span the length of the 400-foot wall, the mural explores the importance of communication and cooperation between all members of the community.

  • Our Community

    Groundswell partnered with PS 38 in Brooklyn to complete a mural for the schools outdoor play yard, which is enjoyed by both student and community members alike.

  • What is Really Inside?

    In the spring of 2004, Groundswell initiated a bronze relief sculpture project in collaboration with Brooklyn Heights Montessori and The School for International Studies.

  • Music Tamed the Beast

    In 2003, a team of Groundswell youth artists collaborated to create Music Tamed the Beast at Brooklyn High School for the Arts. The youth discussed their aspirations for their future careers.
